In my second day of the program, I swam 600 yds! I worked more intensively on changing and improving my back stroke. I am now trying to achieve more rotation in my shoulders and upper body when I practice my back stroke to help me be more efficient in the water! An exercise that I recommend to help improve kicking in the water is to utilize a body board for a few laps. This will help you fully concentrate on your kick and improving your efficiency through the water! Another recommendation that I have for swimming workouts is to utilize fins, such as the ones I am wearing! This will help you propel through the water, so you will be able to concentrate on the quality of your stroke and kicking. Here’s a visual image of what this exercise might look like for you!
